Womens Health Grants - Apply now!

We’re excited to share a new funding opportunity, promoted on behalf of NHS South West London.
On behalf of NHS South West London, we will be distributing small grants of up to £2,000 to support community-led initiatives that improve awareness, education and self-management of women’s health.
Funding is focused on topics such as menopause, period health and bladder/pelvic health, with the aim of reaching women and girls who need information delivered in ways that are culturally relevant, respectful and accessible.
What you can apply for
Organisations can apply to deliver at least one of the following:
1. Community workshops and activities
Locally tailored gatherings, workshops or other initiatives that provide women with a safe and familiar space to discuss menopause, period health and bladder health.
-
Activities should focus on preventative care and awareness.
-
As part of the grant, groups will be expected to nurture and empower up to three local women’s health champions who can support delivery and continue engagement beyond the project.
2. Large-scale learning events
One expert-led online or in-person event per borough (up to 250–300 people), or a series of smaller events reaching the same number.
-
These could include webinars, Q&As or workshops.
-
Activities must be accessible, culturally appropriate and scalable across local populations.
-
Please note: only one grant will be awarded per borough for this option.
3. School-based menstrual health education
Programmes to improve understanding among young girls, reduce stigma and promote long-term wellbeing.
-
Applicants for this option must already be working in schools.
